We would like to call out to all portrait artists to send us your quotes on window portraits for our next project. The windows are approximatly 2' x 6' they may be smaller and/or larger. The DeSoto County Mural Society is having a decorate a chair contest and silent auction to raise money for our next Mural, "Education", to be painted on the wall at the public library. Enter an education theme decorated chair to be judged for a $50 first prize, $30 second prize and $20 third place prize. All chairs will be auctioned by silent auction at local businesses.
Use any kind of chair -- paint, apply or do what every fits your fancy or your seat. We can help you find a chair. We know there are a lot of artist young and old out there so join in and have some fun. They would make great Christmas gifts. We need your help.
